Bill Mitchell

William L. Mitchell was an important General Motors designer from the late 1930s to 1977 per GM's mandatory 65 age retirement. He succeeded Harley Earl as Vice President for Styling in the late 1950s. He was particularly identified with the C2 and C3 versions of the Chevrolet Corvette, the 1964 and 1967 versions of the Buick Riviera, and the 1967 Cadillac Eldorado.
