A 44-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of killing her own babies, after her older children found the bodies of three infants stashed at the bottom of the family's freezer while looking for a frozen pizza, the police said. Police officials confirmed the discovery on Sunday night in the town of Wenden, near Olpe, in the western state of North Rhine-Westphalia, after the woman turned herself in. A son, 18, and a daughter, 24, discovered the bodies Saturday afternoon while their parents were away for the weekend, investigators said. The infants are believed to have been born alive, the police said. The authorities were awaiting autopsy results.

California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger endorsed Sen. John McCain's presidential bid Thursday, adding momentum to the front-runner's campaign while further angering the candidate's conservative critics.

Olivia Munn found herself with a separated left shoulder after she had a fall during a G4TV segment which had her in a pool of baby oil.
G4TV's impossibly shiny haired co-host of Attack Of The Show, Olivia Munn, sure is a trouper. During a bit that aired near the end of Friday's episode, Munn took a nasty spill while writhing about in a shallow pool of baby oil (and you wonder why we DVR the show every night?). Turns out that her slip-n-fall bruised more than just her ego; after the show was completed, paramedics were called to the scene and she was "whisked" away to a local hospital. (Source)

Australian actor Heath Ledger was found dead at a New York apartment earlier today. His death appears to have been caused by an accidental prescription drug overdose.
Ledger was found naked and unresponsive, facedown on the floor at the foot of his bed by a housekeeper trying to wake him for an appointment with a masseuse, said police spokesman Paul Browne.
"Pills were found in the vicinity of the bed," he told CNN. (Source)

The Jack Ryan series is getting a reboot and Ryan Gosling is apparently attached. So says Philip Noyce.
Philip Noyce himself tells us that neither he or Harrison Ford are returning to the Jack Ryan series - but a new Jack Ryan movie is in the works... and it'll star Ryan Gosling! (at least that's what the filmmaker's heard). Noyce WAS attached to direct "By Any Mean's Necessary", briefly last year, but he's no longer involved.

Researchers have found that women who consume the equivalent of two or more cups of regular coffee or five 12-ounce cans of caffeinated soda are twice as likely to have a miscarriage than pregnant woman who avoid caffeine.
Pregnant women who drink two or more cups of coffee a day have twice the risk of having a miscarriage as those who avoid caffeine, U.S. researchers said on Monday.
They said the study provides strong evidence that high doses of caffeine during pregnancy -- 200 milligrams or more per day or the equivalent of two cups of coffee -- significantly increase the risk of miscarriage. And they said the research may finally put to rest conflicting reports about the link between caffeine consumption and miscarriage.
