Facebook Source Code Exposed By Faulty Web Server
Techcrunch has a story linking to a blog containing the source code to the Facebook index page. They are speculating that the source code was leaked but after doing a little digging it appears that a faulty web server may have been responsible.
The source code for profile.php was posted at NerdLife and was taken down soon after when they received a cease and desist email from the Facebook legal department. In the same post a commenter is claiming to have the code for photo.php as well. It’s anyones guess as to how much source code has been exposed but it’s clear that it wasn’t limited to the index page.
Not a great day for Facebook.

Mmm… things have been going so well for Facebook lately, I suppose something had to give.
I do hope nothing too bad comes of this though. I respect any service that challenges MySpace’s monopoly.
