Wordpress Plugin: WP-ContactForm (Akismet Edition)
By using a contact form you give your visitors a way to get in touch with you whilst not publicly exposing your email address, thus keeping it out of the hands of spammers. However, there is still the issue of automated spam.
This is where the Akismet Edition of WP-ContactForm comes in. It uses the Akismet spam filtering feature that is built into Wordpress to check a submitted message for spam characteristics and if so rejects it.
To get the spam filtering benefits of this plugin you need Akismet to be enabled.
Installation:
- Upload all files to wp-content/plugins/wp-contactform-akismet/
- Activate the plugin on the plugin screen
- Go to Options -> Contact Form and update the fields with your information
- Create a post or a page and copy and paste
<!--contact form-->where you want it to appear.

I would rather go with cForms. The good feature I see with WP-Contact Form is Akismet spam filtering.

I was playing around with a form that is fully accessible, but messed up my layout. That form can be found at Blue Anvil.

this is wonderful news, thanks as well for bringing this to my attention. I was getting so much spam every day through my contact form, it was already really pissing me off.
Where did you find this plugin?
I must have been blind

No probs Jez. I can’t remember where I found it, but it was one of the first plugins I installed when I created this blog.
