An Introduction To RSS In Plain English
Using a few pieces of paper and a magic marker the guys over at Common Craft have created one of the best introductory primers on RSS and feed readers I have seen.
If you want to educate anyone on RSS and it’s benefits I suggest you have them watch this video. For something so simple it’s amazingly effective at getting the message across.

Great post Dan! I’m sure that video was easy enough for most people to understand. I don’t know why more people don’t subscribe to them. I like that the IE 7 has an RSS button near the searchbar to add feeds to the browser without subscribing to a reader.

Very good, thank you! I like the presentation, would you be interested in me helping to translate it in another language (Romanian)?

Common Craft is a great blog. The dude took a year off from blogging and never missed a beat.
On of the original blogs focusing on the social media
concept. I like the way he tosses the papers out of the frame.

Great video Dan.
I’m using FeedReader fro more than half of a year but anyway watched it for two times and a brilliant remark from digitalnomad >>> like the guy’s from the video intention was: “Look using RSS is as easy as me tossing out the papers from the frame!”
Thanks a lot.

Thanks Dan. I’m going to have to add Google Reader just they made it look so easy. It seems to organize things better than Feedburner.
