OnlyWire - Another Good Way To Build Some Backlinks
Daniel over at Daily Blog Tips wrote a post about OnlyWire which reminded me how useful a tool it can be to generate backlinks. I signed up a while back, used it for a bit, then completely forgot about it. I wish I hadn’t.
OnlyWire is a handy little web tool which will automatically add any link you give it to multiple social bookmarking sites. This is especially useful for bloggers because it means with a couple of clicks your post can be listed on 19 different sites.
These are the bookmarking services OnlyWire will submit to:
- Backflip
- Bibsonomy
- Blinklist
- Blogmemes
- Blue Dot
- de.lirio.us (no-follow)
- del.icio.us (no-follow)
- Diigo
- Furl
- Jots
- Linkroll (no-follow)
- Looklater
- ma.gnolia
- Markaboo (no-follow)
- Rawsugar (no-follow)
- Shadows
- Simpy (no-follow)
- Spurl
- Wink (no-follow)
I went through and checked each of these sites and I’ve listed the ones that use no-follow links. You can avoid them if you like but they might still be useful for generating some extra traffic. And in any case Yahoo seems to ignore no-follow directives so you should still gain quite a few backlinks with them.
It can be a bit tedious signing up for so many accounts but you only have to do it once and then your set.

Thanks for picking this up. It is a really useful service, good job on the nofollow analysis.

Do you know any other services that are reliable and allow you to post at multiple social bookmarking places?
